I just placed an order for 1,000 Lost Cat door hangers, 4.25″ x 11″. I highly recommend cheapdoorhangers.com, they had the lowest prices I could find, plus the staff was super-helpful and nice, and even gave me a quote over the Thanksgiving weekend when they were technically not open for business.
Sonny and Teddy were found as stray kittens in a parking lot in Redwood City in July 2010. They were scheduled to be euthanized by a shelter (not PHS) because they were born with eyelid agenesis / entropian eyelids. Dr. Monica Rudiger, the kind founder of the wonderful Nine Lives Foundation in Redwood City, saved their lives and gave them eyelid surgery.
Because they were “special needs” cats, they were up for adoption for many months, and they were more than one year old when we adopted them in 2011. We adopted Teddy first. Sonny was in the infirmary, so we didn’t meet him. And we weren’t planning on having three cats (we already had a black cat named Max). When I saw Sonny was still up for adoption one month later, I talked my husband into adopting him too. That was in July 2011.
Adopting Sonny was one of the best things we ever did. He is the most affectionate, sweetest cat I’ve ever had. And watching him and his brother cuddling and grooming each other is priceless. We hope we’ll get the chance to reunite these bonded brothers once again. Seeing Teddy without Sonny makes his disappearance even more heartbreaking.
